Terms of use

Last updated 14 October 2026

MyLedger is a free personal project run by Sifat Shishir. By creating an account or using MyLedger, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What MyLedger is for

MyLedger is for recording and looking back on your own money. You need an account to save anything, and a Google account to keep your transactions in Google Sheets.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Your data

Your transactions are yours and stay in your own Google Drive. MyLedger claims no ownership of anything you enter. The privacy policy says what the app stores and where.

Your spreadsheets in Google Drive are your own copy of your records. Keep them, and download a copy from time to time if your records matter to you.

Your part

  • Keep your MyLedger and Google sign-in details to yourself.
  • Use MyLedger only for lawful purposes and only for your own records.
  • Do not try to break, overload, copy or get around the protections of the service, or to reach anyone else’s data.

Not financial advice

MyLedger records and adds up what you enter. It does not give financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Check important figures yourself before relying on them; decisions about your money remain yours.

Google

MyLedger is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Google. Your use of Google Sheets and Drive is also covered by Google’s own terms.

Provided as it is

MyLedger is free and offered as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including that it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. It may change, pause or stop. If it is going to stop for good, the app will say so in advance where possible; your spreadsheets stay in your Drive either way.

Limits of responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, Sifat Shishir is not liable for any loss of data, money, profit or opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from using or being unable to use MyLedger. Because the service is free, total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use it, which is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

Stopping

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile. An account used to harm the service or other people may be suspended or closed.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and a significant change will be announced in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use MyLedger after that means you accept the new terms. Questions go to sifatshishir@gmail.com.
